Rich Wilson

Rich Wilson is an acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer known for his energetic, quick-witted performances and sharp storytelling.

A regular at major comedy festivals worldwide, he has performed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and New Zealand Comedy Festival, where he won Best International Guest at the 2016 New Zealand Comedy Awards and was nominated again the following year.

Rich was also nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2024 and Best MC at the 2023 Chortle Awards. Alongside stand-up, he is an in-demand comedy writer whose credits include work for BBC Three, Sky Arts and Channel 4.

He also hosts the popular Insane in the… podcast, where he speaks with comedians and creatives about mental health; the show won Best Podcast at the JOE Awards and has been nominated by Podbible.

Katie Lingo

Katie Lingo by day and night are two very different things. When she’s not running marathons or a business, Katie lets her comedy side come out – for better or for worse.

Channelling the physical comedy of Rik Mayall and the potty mouth of Joan Rivers, she’s not afraid to sound disgusting or look ridiculous.

Expect loud volumes, high energy and toe-curling overshares. No one is safe.

Lisa May - MC

MCing the HIVE MCR comedy special is Lisa May, also known in the daylight hours as Lisa Paasche.

Lisa previously built and sold an SEO agency, survived a three-year earn-out with Omnicom, and got divorced. After that she decided to try something less stressful… stand-up comedy.

She spent two years on the London comedy circuit performing in the glamorous world of dingy pub basements - mostly to audiences made up of other comedians, and one confused guy who thought it was a quiz night.

Eventually she realised the problem wasn’t the comedy… it was the marketing. So she launched her own comedy night, promoted the hell out of it, and promptly sold out every show.

She later landed a spot at London’s legendary Comedy Store before deciding she’d proved her point and returning to the agency world.

These days Lisa mentors agency founders and speaks at conferences, but tonight she’s back doing what she does best: holding a microphone and judging other people’s performance.
